We always meet there with our association when we hold our general meeting. Friendly service, but the food is mostly frozen food, apart from fresh seasonal mushrooms. But then they are correspondingly expensive.

We have been there 3 times. The food was really okay twice, unfortunately not at all once. You had the feeling the mashed potatoes came out of the bag and the liver was almost the consistency of the sole of a shoe. The omelette was very greasy, like it was swimming in the pure fat. The offer that the Kastanienhof has on the menu is good old home cooking and remains true to its direction. I think that's very good. You get everything from pork knuckle, liver, to black pudding, soljanka, etc. You can't complain about the drinks either. The staff was friendly. The furnishings match the offer. Good middle-class and clean.

Fresh schnitzel (no frozen food) with a crisp, fresh side dish: tasted very good. There was only one waiter on duty, who handled everything very well. Nice beer garden! Thank you, we will be back!

A small, nice restaurant with excellent cuisine and very dedicated and friendly staff. The menu includes seasonal products, and efforts are also made to decorate the dishes. I found the salad on the plate a bit too sour, but that was really the only thing I didn't like. Incidentally, I was very satisfied and certainly not the last time here.

Very cozy and friendly restaurant for day-trippers from the Berlin area, bicycle tourists and people who want to spend a family celebration in the green. Good selection of mostly inexpensive dishes - friendly and courteous service!

Why look into the distance.... last night the good was so close. We sat comfortably outside and were served super nice and attentive. The food for us 5 was absolutely delicious, everything was fresh and lovingly arranged. We would love to come back and will be happy to recommend the Kastanienhof to friends and acquaintances.

Schnitzel day: the schnitzel is excellent, the different creations interesting, but I prefer potato salad. The restaurant has a very nicely designed outside area, where children also feel comfortable.

This is where the old Schildow audience meets. Hard to see young faces. Accordingly, the interior is getting old. But everything has its right to exist. The dishes are reasonably priced and ordinary to good home-style food is served. The service is polite. It's even more fun outside in the beer garden.
